INTRODUCTION

The majority of neck pain we see at MPT&Rehab is caused by poor posture, lack of proper function and poor stability that will cause injury to the muscles and ligaments through repetitive over use. Neck pain is directly correlated to posture, shoulder stability and function, scapular stability and function, core stability and correct shoulder to arm alignment. The common source of neck pain; is from an injured or herniated disk. Most neck pain originates from ligamentous strain, muscular strains, nerve compression, pinched nerves and joint problems.

At MPT&Rehab we offer non-surgical options for effectively and safely managing your neck pain. You will be given a customized treatment plan which will aim to get you back to the level of activity and the lifestyle that you are accustomed to without having to deal with your neck. We will show you how to become pain free, fix the cause, and eliminate your symptoms.

Maywood PT together provide a very specific, individualized and comprehensive approach which will determine the exact cause of the pain and treat it as such.

SYMPTOMS
